Dried Apricots are high in natural fruit-sugar, low in sucrose and very rich in Carbohydrates and

Fiber.They contain high amounts of Calcium, Phosphorus and Iron than most of other dried fruits.

Turkey has the most favourable climate conditions for growing apricots, like for figs, hence, the

leading apricot producing country. Turkey contributes %85 of all world dried apricot exports.

Apricots are generally treated with Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) in order to enable them preserve their

bright orange /yellow colour and protect them against pests and insects.
